Side Bangs: To do or Not to do

Recently my cousin has decided after much debate and opinions for everyone and anyone to get side bangs. This trend of young women getting these specific style of bangs has sky rocketed. It seems everywhere you look the majority of the population has this new fashion statement . However like other hair trends it will soon pass. The question is how long do you think this fashion of having side bangs will last? Remember the time of the "scrunchie" for all those girls out there reading this remember how crazy people well at least east-indian girls were about wearing scrunchies. I remember my mom making them at home so that each of our outfits would have a matching scrunchie. Or remember when everyone was in love with hair clips. I am also on the convicted list of wearing such hair items. When i would wear Punjabi suits I made sure I had matching hair clips to go with the outfit which now would be provoked as being "tacky". However the scrunchies and hair clips are just accessories. Side bangs whether you like them or not will stay on your head until your hair starts to grow out. Side bangs look good on certain people and some people just get them because "everyone else has them." My cousin looks great with them I know she'll be smiling when she reads this lol. Personally I will not be joining in the millions of girls around the world and get side bangs. As my cousin's joke goes: "2005 called they want their bangs back!" With that said please feel free to comment on side bangs. Like them? Love them? Hate them? Or dont really care?
